It’s up to Peter and his friendly crocodile neighbor, Percy, to find each item for Grandma’s costume in time. And they definitely need your help- quick! There’s something lost on every page; can you find it?
My Review:
If you or your little one loves penguins, this book is for you. It is super cute!
What you have is a search and find book, but there is a story involved. Grandma Penguin is looking for all the pieces of her outfit that she wants to wear when the mayor comes to visit. However, every single piece is missing! The story tells you what piece she is looking for and then you have the choice of looking for it before continuing to the next page. Then as the story progresses you can see Grandma Penguins outfit get more and more complete.
The pages are crazy, full of a lot of things to see. There are some key characters that you can keep an eye out for throughout the story. Then there is finding the pieces of Grandma's outfit. However, they do make it a little easier to find the outfit pieces as they are always with a certain Penguin, but that doesn't mean it is easy to find her!
This is more the kind of book you would spend time looking through and talking about the fun things that you see and not a story book. The great thing, though, is that there are so many different things on every page that if you were to look through the book with your little one the conversation is sure to be different every time you look through it.
I really enjoyed the book and thought it was very cute.
